Notable Changes From the Previous Year

The seven trims on offer for the 2022 Jeep Cherokee have now been reduced to two for 2023. Instead of a V6 engine, a choice between the 2.0-litre or 2.4-litre MultiAir engines is now available.

Adaptive cruise control, including a Stop and Go feature, is a new addition. Other safety features include Blind-Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision and Lane Departure alerts, and a ParkSense system.

The Trailhawk model’s seats include a Nappa leather trim. The passenger seat has automatic dual lumbar settings. The high-beam headlamps are also automatic.

The Uconnect NAV system and SiriusXM Radio are standard features on both models.

Off-road driving is easily managed when using the 4x4 mode. Extra traction is provided with the Jeep Active Drive Lock system. This feature is available in Trailhawk models. The Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System is another standard feature of this model. Auto, Sport, Snow, and Sand/Mud modes are included, providing optimal traction settings and easier steering for off-road terrain.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

The standard Lane Departure Warning system includes the Lane Keep Assist. This feature will notify the driver if the vehicle begins to move across into another lane. The Forward Collision Warning system will detect possible collisions, activating the brakes timeously.
