Performance Features
The 2023 Gladiator comes with two engine options. The first powertrain is the 3.6-litre Pentastar VVT V6. It can be paired with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and can tow up to 7,700 lbs.
The second option is the smaller 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6, which comes only with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to tow up to 6,500 lbs. The maximal payload of the 2023 Gladiator is 1,710 lbs.
The fuel consumption can be as low as 8.5 L/100 km on the highway and 10.8 L/100 km in the city.
