“For more than 40 years, our minivans have been part of Canadian family life, and with more than 16.6 million sold globally, nearly every Canadian has a story that involves one, including me,” said Trevor Longley, president and CEO, Stellantis Canada. “From road trips to hockey practices, these vehicles have carried families through everyday moments that matter. By significantly reducing Pacifica pricing today, we’re making this latest generation of our award‑winning, Canadian‑assembled minivans more accessible than ever and continuing a legacy Canadians know and trust.”
Chrysler invented the minivan 43 years ago when the first “magic wagon” minivan rolled off the line at Canada’s Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP) in Windsor, Ontario. Today, Chrysler Pacifica is the best‑selling and most awarded minivan in Canada, as well as in America, and the only one to offer as standard, the segment‑exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating and storage system in both the second and third rows.
Pacifica’s intelligent AWD system, standard on Limited and Pinnacle trims and available on Select, delivers confident four‑season traction for Canadian driving conditions. It is also the only minivan to combine AWD with second‑row Stow ’n Go seating and storage. The available Trailer Tow Group offers best‑in‑class towing of up to 1,632 kg (3,600 lbs.).
The significantly refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica, introduced earlier this month at the New York International Auto Show, smartly evolves the modern minivan, with a sharpened exterior, upgraded interior options, expanded technology packages and new standard features — all designed to give customers greater choice, comfort and confidence.
In addition to price reductions of up to $7,200 on 2027 Pacifica Limited and Pinnacle models, the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica Select AWD is now the lowest priced seven‑passenger AWD minivan in Canada, delivering outstanding value and all-weather confidence.
For decades, Chrysler Grand Caravan has held a special place with Canadian families for exceptional value and everyday practicality, so much so that the nameplate remains exclusive to Canada. The 2027 Grand Caravan proudly carries that legacy forward, holding firm on its sub‑$50,000 starting price (including destination and additional fees), while delivering the features Canadians expect as standard, including power sliding doors and liftgate, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 10.1‑inch Uconnect touchscreen and much more.

Assembled in Canada
Since their genesis more than 40 years, Chrysler minivans have been proudly assembled in Canada at the Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP). Since 1984, 16.6 million minivans have been sold worldwide, the majority of which were assembled at WAP. Looking at Pacifica production alone, in 10 years since it was introduced, 1.15 million minivans have been assembled exclusively at WAP, underscoring the plant’s central role in Stellantis’ global operations. Today, the facility’s 6,000-strong workforce produces both the Chrysler minivan family and the award‑winning, multi‑energy Dodge Charger lineup, recently named 2026 North American Car of the Year (NACTOY).
Today’s pricing action comes as Windsor Assembly recently adds a third production shift, welcoming more than 1,700 new employees to support anticipated demand for the Chrysler minivans and Dodge muscle cars.
Sales Leadership
In the first quarter of 2026, the Windsor‑assembled Chrysler Pacifica delivered a standout performance in Canada, posting triple‑digit sales growth of 256% and firmly holding its position as the country’s No. 1‑selling minivan, with 4,008 units sold. That momentum helped drive a 15% year‑over‑year increase in total Canadian sales, making Stellantis Canada the fastest growing automaker in the market. This momentum builds on a 61% sales increase for the Chrysler brand in Canada in 2025 calendar year. In the U.S., Pacifica sales rose nearly 11% in the most recent quarter.
